My journey, carved in the wild

From a nomadic upbringing to finding roots in the Australian wilderness, my journey at Viking Huntress is a testament to the power of passion and self-discovery. Here, I share the story behind my unique craft, born from a deep connection to nature and a commitment to honoring its raw beauty. Welcome to the heart of Viking Huntress.

Finding my path in the Australian bush

Growing up between Australia and England, I often felt unrooted. It wasn't until I made it my mission to embrace self-sufficiency in the Australian bush that I truly began to find myself. Starting with wild pig hunting in 2004, my passion evolved over 12 years, leading me to hunt feral goats, deer, and foxes across the vast landscapes of Australia. This deep immersion in the wilderness became the crucible for my craft, inspiring Viking Huntress.

The art of honoring nature's forms

My upbringing in English pubs kept me far from nature's embrace, making my current connection to the wild truly fascinating. Each piece I create at Viking Huntress is born from a profound respect for the animals and their forms. Whether it's the intricate patterns on a hand-carved animal skull, the robust beauty of wild boar tusks, or the natural elegance of deer antlers, my craft is about transforming these unique materials into bespoke art that honors the life they once held, a tribute forged from running with the dogs and meticulously honoring my kills.

Empowering stories, one piece at a time

The connection I found with the Australian hunting community revealed a market for my carving, and more importantly, my true passion. When someone wears or buys a custom piece for their child from Viking Huntress, I hope they feel empowered.
I want them to connect with their own memories, their own ideas, and perhaps even their own trophies, seeing them transformed into meaningful, unique pieces that resonate with their personal journey and achievements. It's about bringing their vision to life through authentic craftsmanship.

"Every piece tells a story, a whisper from the wild transformed into a personal emblem of strength and connection."
